Dear Pam,
Thank you for going to the extra effort to "switch on" the computer before noon.
All soon to be mothers and new baby girls with beautiful names require lots of
poems written about them. I don't know any poets so I wrote one for Chloe
myself.
Please read it to Chloe for me. She is sure to hear and do a summersault out of
sheer glee. (Sorry about that. I'm still in poetry mode.) Alan
Poem For Chloe
As Pam forges thru her day,
Chloe swims and frolics at play.
And who can really say...
Whether Chloe sees red or blue or gray.
Yet Pam can be sure that Chloe
Hears everything we say.
Even the jingle of coins when patients pay,
And the rattle of a hygienists tray.
So what sounds will tiny Chloe,
Hear, swim to, hum to and enjoy?
Who's foolish enough to deny,
Pam & Chloe getting their own way?
For Chloe can teach Pam,
To see, smell, feel & hear today,
In ways Pam never could yesterday.
So who's the parent and who's the child,
If Pam is born anew thru Chloe?
Please let Soffi, Al, and the team know how you and Chloe get along.
Alan
